Collin — good to sit down with you. Here's everything we talked
about, written down so you can see exactly what's included and what isn't.
What I heard you say
"It just needs to look banging."
You've built a real company over five years, and the website is still the
2019 version — a few pages meant to get you rolling. You've got a wall of
five-star reviews, a portfolio nobody sees, and a gallery that warns people
it loads slowly. The site isn't representing the business you actually run.
Three things you were specific about, and all three shape what follows:
- Video-driven and premium. The Gowler / Fisk look — clean, confident, video that fills the screen.
- You don't want to run it. Your time isn't best spent editing a website at midnight.
- You want to be found. Blogging, SEO, and showing up when someone searches "deck builder near me."
The plan
Built in phases so you see results before you spend on the next piece.
Phase 1 is the foundation and stands on its own.
Phase 1 — Foundation
$2,000
Founder's pricing
- New website, built mobile-first — video hero background, your brand,
your logo (the little A stays exactly as it is)
- Gallery rebuilt — fast-loading, organised, no more slow warning
- AI intake assistant — greets every visitor day or night, learns what they
want (deck or pergola, cedar or composite, size, timeline, budget), gives a
ballpark on the spot, books straight into your calendar, and texts you
the moment it happens
- Google Business Profile optimised — categories, services, service areas,
photos, review-request link
- Modern hosting — fast, secure, and no yearly platform fee
This is the number we discussed, and it stands.
Phase 2 — Get Found$900
- 8–10 project & location pages — each real job becomes its own page:
the neighbourhood, the materials, the photos
- Targets the long-tail searches that convert — "covered cedar deck with step
lighting, Monument Colorado" — the searches made by people ready to buy
- Every page is another door into your site
Honest note: SEO is a 3–6 month build, not a switch.
That's exactly why Phase 1 includes the intake assistant — it captures the leads
arriving today while this works in the background.
Phase 3 — The Enginesoptional, later
| Add-on | What it does | Price |
| Blog engine |
Voice-memo and a few photos from the jobsite → a drafted post and a Google
post, ready for your approval each week. You approve; it publishes. |
$1,200 |
| Proposal engine |
A site-visit voice memo becomes a scoped quote using your own pricing,
out as a clean PDF. Saves an evening per bid. |
$1,500 |
| Design-build partnership page |
A page for you and your wife's real-estate side — the partnership,
lender links, the full design-build story. |
$300 |
| Social syndication |
Each approved post also goes out to Facebook and Instagram, so the
content you're already capturing actually gets used. |
$400 |
Ongoing — what it costs to keep running
There's no monthly fee to me. You said you'd rather
just call when you need something, and that works.
- You own everything. Domain, hosting, and the AI account are all in your
name, on your card. Nothing is rented from me and nothing is held hostage.
- Running costs go straight to the tools — roughly $20–60/month
depending on how much traffic the assistant handles. You pay them directly.
- Changes: call or text me. Small tweaks during the first month are on me.
After that it's $75/hour, and most things take well under an hour.
- If it ever gets busy enough that you'd rather have me on call with everything
monitored, we can talk about a care plan. Only if it earns its keep.
How we start
- Now — free: I optimise your Google Business Profile. Costs you nothing,
and you'll see the difference before you've spent a dollar.
- What I need from you — two things:
- Manager access to your Google Business Profile. In your profile:
Settings → People and access → Add → vincedaniel@gmail.com →
role: Manager. Takes about 30 seconds.
- The Dropbox link to your photo and video library.
- Next: I build a concept of the new site for you to react to. You said
concept before money — agreed.
- Then: you tell me what to change. We iterate until it's right.
On that access — you stay in control. You remain the owner of the profile;
Manager only lets me edit. You can remove my access at any time, in one click,
without asking me — and anything I change, you can change back. Nothing
I touch is locked, hidden, or dependent on me sticking around. Same goes for
everything else we build: the domain, the hosting and the accounts are all in your
name, and if you ever want to take it in-house or hand it to someone else, nothing
breaks and nothing has to be untangled.
About the pricing. This is founder's pricing — you're one of my first
clients, and the honest trade is that your reviews and referrals are worth more
to me right now than the difference in the invoice. I won't be able to offer
these numbers once I have a few case studies behind me, and I'd rather tell you
that plainly than pretend it's my standard rate.
"Terminator Bob is going to help prevent the AI takeover by
building my wife's business." — still the best line of the meeting.
